Saturday Late Action

November 26th, 2005

If and when our Iowa State play hits the green, we’ll have some late game action. We aren’t chasing the green though; this is an “if we win early, we play a couple late” proposition.

Virginia Tech is a -24.5 shot against North Carolina. The public has bumped the line up from 21 and while we don’t always like to chase the rising line, this game will be horribly one-sided as the Hokies control their own destiny into the ACC Championship. The Tarheels are weak on defense and won’t be able to move the ball against the Tech D.

Take Virginia Tech -24.5 (but ignore this game above 25.5)

Notre Dame is BCS bound with a win at Stanford. This line opened at the Irish -17 and has been bet down to -15/-15.5. Notre Dame is too explosive to justify this low number and this game will be a blowout.

Take Notre Dame -15.5
